Introduction

This guide will take you step-by-step through the Video Titan process of becoming a super affiliate. There are literally thousands of products in thousands of niches that you can promote products for. It is a simple process and one than you can rinse and repeat over and over again so that you become profitable in multiple niches.

STEP 1: Research Product to Promote

The first step in becoming a super affiliate is to research products that are currently in demand and in niches that you have an interest in or knowledge of.

It's far easier to promote a product that you like, enjoy or are passionate about rather than a product you have no interest in because you'll find that you will have more success doing something you enjoy.

So a good starting point is to note down a list of hobbies, pastimes or topics that you are knowledgeable about and enjoy. For example, you might be a keen cyclist - there are literally hundreds of cycling products and thousands of cyclists who spend a lot of money on this expensive sport.

Or you might be a person who enjoys crafts and maybe in particular knitting or quilting. Again this is a huge market and people interested in these types of crafts are almost obsessed with their craft and don't hesitate to spend money on fabric, wool and tools that will help them with their projects.

Maybe you enjoy gardening - again gardening is very much in fashion and people want their gardens to look nice so right from the simplest gardening product to expensive garden furniture and outdoor fires and lighting there are plenty of people who are more than happy to spend money on these products.

So you get the idea, note down things that you enjoy as your starting point.

Next take your list of ideas and carry out some research to see what kind of demand there is online. You may find that in a given niche you can break it down into subniches of which some will be more popular than others.

For example, within the gardening niche there are hundreds of subniches such as plants, organic, trees, patio gardening, landscaping etc. So you need to assess which subniche is going to give you the best chance of success.

There are, however, a handful of niches that are evergreen and will always have a huge demand because they address people who are seeking a solution to a problem and continue to do so as the number of people searching online continues to grow on a daily basis.

These evergreen niches generally fall into these 5 areas:

- weight loss

- dating & relationships

- make money

- work at home

- health & fitness

Within these evergreen niches are hundreds of sub niches that you can choose to target as there are always going to be thousands and thousands of people seeking out this information and who are happy to spend money on these types of products.

So you might wish to start out promoting products in one of these evergreen niches and then move into another niche from your list. Whichever way you choose to go the process remains the same.

Use Video Titan's Video Researcher software to find out what products people are searching for and also to establish demand in a niche if you are going to be promoting products outside of the evergreen niches above.

Using the Video Researcher software, If we take the weight loss niche we can see there are no shortages of searches in this niche and a staggering 144.4M views of videos in this niche. Of course this term is way too broad and not targeted enough but it tells you straight away that this is a huge niche with lots of demand for information.

We can also see the numbers of other related keywords that are being searched in this niche. So from this point we would know that we have found a profitable niche that we can target.

As we mentioned the search term "weight loss" is too broad so you would need to research more finely targeted keywords and possible subniches that really hone in on your target audience within this niche.

Once you have decided on your niche it pays to research what type of products people are currently buying. Great places to do this are on Clickbank and Amazon because you can easily search out the best sellers in a niche.

For example go to https://accounts.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm and search for weight loss products:

If you select "Gravity" from the results drop down menu this will show you the products that affiliates are having the most success with. This will tell you what type of ebooks people are buying in this niche.

So spend some time searching what types of products your target audience are buying as this will pay dividends in your campaigns.

STEP 2 : Create Your Landing Page

So once you've decided what niche/subniche product you are going to promote it's time to start building your list of prospects that you can market to with your offer.

The best way to do this is with a landing page that features a free offer for those that subscribe to your mailing list. The idea is to offer something of value to them in return for their email address. This means that further down the line you can promote products to them in a niche they are interested in because they have signed up for your mailing list.

Remember, this list is invaluable because firstly, you know they are interested in this niche otherwise they wouldn't have joined your mailing list and secondly, even if they don't buy a product the first time you mail them they are still on your list and you can promote other products they are likely to be interested in. So treat your list as 'gold' because it will become your most valuable asset in your niche.

So, creating a landing page is very easy and this you can do with Video Titan's VSL page maker. This was covered in the earlier YouTube Marketing PPC guide.

These are easy to create and if you are knowledgeable in your niche you can just write a short report that sounds appealing. For example:

If you are not so knotweed in your niche you can quickly research a few articles on a topic you are going to write about and then take this information and rewrite it in your own words. Remember, it is free so it only needs to be a short report maybe 2 or 3 pages.

Alternatively, you can hire someone to write a short report for you. To find writers you can either hire a writer on Elance which is an online company with thousands of freelancers seeking all types of work. Go to https://www.elance.com/ and create a free account and then post your job requirements. You'll find lots of freelancers will respond so check out their profiles, previous work and of course their charges.

Alternatively, you can go to Fiverr and hire someone registered on Fiverr to write a short report for you for just $5.00. Go to https://uk.fiverr.com/ to find out more. Again it's free to register and post your project requirements.

Another option is for you to buy a PLR product (Private Label Rights). These are very affordable and often you can get a set of reports in a niche for just $10 or thereabouts. All you need to do is a Google search for a plr product in your niche for example, see below:

Next in order for you to start building your list from those people who sign up for your free report you need to sign up with an autoresponder service like Aweber. An autoresponder service is an email marketing system that collects and stores the names and email addresses of those who have signed up for your offer. This allows you to manage and keep track of your list and those that buy in response to your email promotions in the most effective way.

This allows you to contact people on your list over and over again by sending them content and information relevant to your niche. In this way people will come to see you as an authority in your niche. Then when you email them to recommend a product they might be interested in they are more likely to buy from you because you have established a relationship with them.

In addition you can create email lists from your sign ups from those that have made a purchase and those that haven't which allows you to really tailor your email promotions.

The whole process of using an autoresponder such as Aweber means that you can write your emails in advance and schedule them to go out on a particular at a particular time which is very efficient especially if, for example, you wish to create an email series that you want to be delivered at intervals.

The very fact that you will need to build a list and manage it without it going into your own inbox or being blocked by spam filters means that you should really start at the very beginning with an autoresponder.

STEP 3 : Create Your Video

Next you will need to create your video to promote your offer and ask people to sign up. Again it's easy to create your video with Video Titan's Video Sales Page Maker covered in the earlier guide and also below:

It's very quick and simple but there are a few simple rules for you to follow when using the software to create your videos:

When recording your video it's important to remember that you want entice people to click on your ad so it's very important to record your ad following a particular format outlined as follows.

Ideally your video should be 30 - 45 seconds in length (1 minute) maximum.

Start by asking a question based on the result a view wants or empathize with a problem they likely have (5 seconds)

Next add credibility about who you are and why they should listen to you.If appropriate add a brief but strong statement about what you've achieved and how you can help them or give them. (10 - 20 seconds)

Give them a call to action by telling them to click on the link in your video. Remind them about what they will get and the benefits. Finally repeat the call to action.

NB. Allow at least 4 or 5 seconds at the video to give them time to click on the link before the video closes.

Now that may seem a lot but it really isn't and we have provided an example script below that you can use as a template.

You can take this template and adapt it to your own product or service.

Be sure to add screenshots as described above to show your product and the landing page they will arrive at once they click on your link.

Remember to leave enough time at the end of the video to allow the viewer time to click on the link.

Once you have your script and images ready and followed the guidelines above it's time for you to actually create your video with Video Titan's Video Sales Page Maker.

You will also need to create your landing page with the Sales Page Maker which is where viewers will arrive after they click on the link in your video. Remember to try and include an image of your landing page in your video so that viewers will know what to expect. This has proven to greatly increase conversions.

A quick note about landing pages:

Landing pages should be very simple and not complicated. The aim is to get the name and email address of the viewer to add to your list. So it's important that they are not distracted by other aspects on the page. So bear this in mind when creating landing pages. Once you have their email address you can at a later stage email them with other information but for now we just want to capture their name and email address.

NB: Once viewers have entered their details into the landing page they should be directed to your website. This is essential if Google are to approve your ad as they want all landing pages to link to a site with relevant information.

They should be directed to a page on your website where they can download your offer, bonus or product that you featured in your video.

It's important to note that your website should contain links at the bottom of each page to your:

- Contact information

- Privacy Terms

- Terms of service

In addition there should be some basic content on your site about who you are and what you do so ideally a 2 or 3 page website.

If you don't already have a website you can Google website software that you can use for free such as Wordpress. They are very easy to use and you can set up a website with content in less than an hour.

Then all you need to do is set up a page to feature your free offer that you featured on your video.

STEP 4: How To Get Traffic

So once you have your free offer, landing page and video ready to go it's time to get traffic to your site.

There are several ways you can speed this up if you have a small budget to get you going.

The first way is to use the method described in the YouTube Marketing PPC guide that you should already have. Essentially, this is about getting your video listed on the first page of Google via Pay Per Click (ppc) advertising. You can get started with a daily budget of just a few dollars a day but this will give your video momentum and as more people view your video the quicker it will rank highly in the search engines.

The other method you can use is to advertise on Facebook. Again for a low daily budget you can promote your video via their paid ads.

We suggest that you pick one method and work with that first so that you get a feel for how your video is performing and any tweaks you might need to make before diving into both methods.

Alternatively, if you have a budget to work with you can choose to buy solo ads to get instant traffic especially if your niche is 'make money' or 'internet marketing'.

Solo ads are a very effective way of sending out email promotions. Your ad is sent to a specific audience of opt-in subscribers who have given their permission to be emailed with offers they might be interested in. Your solo ad can be sent out within a day or so, so you can get almost instant results.

A very reliable source for solo ad traffic is Udimi (http://udimi.com/) formerly know as Safe Swaps. You can sign up for free and check out the sellers available along with their ratings and reviews. It's very affordable and you can get 100 clicks for as little as $35 in some cases.

Udimi will feed back to you the number of clicks you received - this is a great way to get extra subscribers to your list for very little, time effort and money. Solo ads work well if you have a little budget not only by getting added subscribers to your list but also in increasing sales. You can then reinvest into another solo ad to get even more subscribers.

Remember that as people view your video, visit your landing page and sign up to your mailing list you are building your list of a targeted audience in your niche. As we mentioned before this is an invaluable asset and as it grows it becomes more valuable as time goes on.

You should always be seeking out relevant and new products in your niche because in a timely fashion you can promote these products to your list. At no time should you bombard your list with offers but if you promote new and relevant products from time to time as your list grows you will gain their trust and they will value your opinion on a product that you think fits with their needs.
